I launched LyfStyled with a mission: to build and share a more intentional path to lifestyle and financial freedom.
That mission is deeply personal—but it’s meant to live beyond me.
So, early on, I decided to publish my work under a name that embodies my vision and identity—a name that bridges who I am and the work I want to leave behind.
That name is Ivy K. Kitchin.
Why a Pen Name?
“Ivy” started as a creative identity. It gave me space to write freely, explore big ideas, and separate my voice from the expectations of my job, location, or past.
But as LyfStyled grew, so did my vision. I didn’t want to hide behind a pseudonym—I wanted to integrate my full self into the brand.
That’s why I chose to blend my pen name with my real name.
It’s not a mask—it’s a message:
- You can build your version of freedom.
- You don’t have to fit into one box.
- You’re allowed to evolve—and name your evolution.
